laguna beach is located in orange county, california, it’s where michael has spent much of his life. we are so excited to share the beauty of our favorite place with you. it’s an hour(ish) south of los angeles, so there are several options on how to get here. read below for a list of options for flights, stays, and getting around.

LAGUNA BEACH HOUSE — $$
this boutique hotel is within walking distance of main beach and downtown laguna. it’s another good option in great location. relax by the pool & fire pit and enjoy the newly updated rooms.
PACIFIC EDGE HOTEL — $
this affordable beachfront hotel has a range of rooms at all price points. it’s directly next to The Deck, one of our favorite places to get drinks. there is direct beach access as well as a pool. this is a great budget-friendly option!
CASA LOMA — $$$
formerly the inn at laguna beach, this newly renovated hotel is our personal favorite choice. it’s walking distance to everything happening in downtown laguna. the property itself is also waterfront with a stunning property including a rooftop bar and pool. highly recommend!
AIRBNB + VRBO
there are restrictions on airbnbs in laguna beach, but there are several options for homes in orange county. newport beach is only 15 min north of laguna and it has a number of airbnb & vrbos. if you’d like to stay with a group, we recommend this option!
note: we will not be providing transportation from newport beach down to laguna beach for any wedding events

John Wayne Airport (SNA)
John Wayne Airport (SNA) is 20 minutes from Laguna Beach. It's small, easy to get in and out of, and you can reach it via a number of major airlines.
LAX & LGB
Los Angeles (LAX) is 54 miles from Laguna Beach. Long Beach (LGB) is 30(ish) miles. We suggest renting a car. You can also take an uber/lyft. Be aware that anytime after 3pm will be heavy traffic going south.

if you plan on seeing different parts of orange county, we suggest renting a car for the weekend. there will be street parking at the church ceremony and valet parking at all other events.
uber & lyft
while there are ubers and lyfts, keep in mind laguna beach is a small town and only has so many drivers. if you are planning on taking an uber or lyft, we recommend giving yourself plenty of time.
laguna beach trolley
if you are staying in laguna, the trolley is FREE and it’s the best way to get around town. it runs from 9:30am to 11:30pm and you can hop on/hop off as you please. here is a link to more info
