Crystal Cove Shake Shack- (not the chain) normally a line but it’s worth the wait. Sit on the deck
Bear Flag Fish Co.- multiple locations, this is an OC must try!
Carmelita’s- great Mexican spot
Coyote Grill- good Mexican with a view, great for breakfast. this place is a Payne family staple
Ahba- casual burger spot, one of our favs
Orange Inn- great location, casual for breakfast, lunch or coffee

The Deck- if you wanna get a drink, this place is on the beach and is right by pacific edge hotel. Very casual but great view
Hotel Laguna- similar to the deck but fancier. Great view. This is my only slightly fancy place I recommend 
Casa del Camino- rooftop with a view
Mozambique- another rooftop with a view
